Microscopically examination:
1. Pollen grain spherical with
spherical spiny exinle, has 3
germinal furrows.
2. Fragments of petals with
papillosed cells.
3. Fragment of fibrous layer of
another which is thick and
lignified.
4. Fragment of crystal layers :
parenchyma cells contain Ca OX.
crystals prisms.
5. Vessels: spiral reticulate,
pitted thick, lignified.
6. Elongated cells
7. Fibers group: elongated,
fuseforme, thick lignified.
Preiparation of fatty acids:
N. Hexane ext. was reflexes 2N
KOH (alcoholic solution) for 4
hours.
Extract with ether (3 x 300 ml)
Add to the aqueous extract, Hcl
> till the PH is acedic.
Extract with either (3 x 300 ml)
Methylation by using
Diazomethane.
